Featured Quilt - Living Amongst The Trees
Tree Town by Karen Eckmeier was featured at the 2022 Houston International Quilt Festival, and Karen invites you to come to Tree Town and experience life under its hand embellished, dyed, and painted branches and leave.
She says, "This magical village in the tree tops is based on the silhouette of a 500-year-old White Oak tree. It is part of my Happy Villages (TM) series of fabric collages that range
from realistic to fantasy. Use your imagination as to who may live and swing among these branches. Where would you live in this tree?"

The Quilt Show Puzzle: An Apple A Day
"32 is a Bushel" by Sarah Fielke
32 is a Bushel is Sarah's
improv apple quilt. Its name comes from the fact that there are thirty-two apples in a bushel of apples. The quilt is an appropriate one for Sarah since she is a teacher, and teachers love their apples, and it is a pattern that she has made available for others to learn from as well.
