Lisa shows you how to build a framed bird box collage with simple machine stitches over layers of assorted fabrics, words on paper, ribbon and stamped images. Plus, Alex is eager to share what she learned from her Sue Spargo wool and embroidery class.

"Iris" by Barbara Black

Iris is one of a few garden quilts that Barbara has made, this one in a workshop with Jane Townswick over twenty-five years ago. Hand quilted, and made with many different layers and piecing, the subject matter was easy to choose for Barbara because she simply loves Irises.
