Featured Quilt - Feel The Freedom of Quilting
Enjoy the Freedom by Hsin-Chen Lin was featured at the 2022 Houston International Quilt Festival and is her exploration of freedom in all of its facets. Featuring hand done everything, hand piecing, hand appliqué, hand embroidery, hand dyeing, and hand quilting, Hsin-Chen's beautiful design work comes through a trail of dazzling vibrant colors.
She says, "Life is a series of relationships between the environment and people. What we long for, what we look forward to, will not always be what we want. It is impossible to own what we want without the courage and action to explore and learn. I worked hard to know that there is another state of mind that allows you to enjoy freedom."

Just Arrived - Moon Garden by Tula Pink
|
|
|
By The Light of the Moon
Moon Garden pays tribute to those of us who bloom at night under the glow of moonlight. It features all kinds of garden regulars that are drawn to the fragrance and nourishment that the soil provides - owls and birds of course, bees, dragonflies and an elegant yet often misunderstood little garden snake.

"A Little Wilderness" by Sarah Fielke
After making a couple of different Block Of the
Month quilts, members of Sarah's BOM group were asking her to create a BOM that was completely appliqué. Knowing that not everyone is capable of doing a quilt that is entirely appliqué, Sarah created this quilt, A Little Wilderness, as a beginning appliqué BOM with chunkier and more manageable pieces. It is the companion quilt to the larger and more experienced appliqué BOM that she created called Growing Wild.
See more of Sarah's quilts in Block of the Month Quilt 2023 Homeward Bound by Sarah Fielke.
