Featured Quilt - Second Place Abstract at Road 2022

Vine #2 by Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry (Show 1308) won Second Place - Abstract at Road to California 2022. Caryl says, "Vine #2 began with a doodle I drew many years ago. I decided to play around with it and see what happened. After I tried many different shapes and arrangements it evolved into the design for this quilt. The fabrics include hand-dyed gradations, hand painted fabrics, and fabrics from the various collections I have designed for Benartex. In the quilting I used dozens of different colors of thread. The negative spaces are quilted in vine patterns."

Behind the Scenes of the "All Creatures Great and Small" Opening Titles Sequence
Inspiration Is All Around

While not quilting related, the title sequence to the PBS series All Creatures Great and Small is its own artistic achievement and we felt was worth sharing. Depicting the Yorkshire Dales and the journey of its title character, James Herriot, this lovely series of images is
evocative of many nature inspired quilts. Go behind the scenes and learn how the creators brought these beautiful images to life.

This artwork is created on the theme of Christmas peace and I must its the best art exhibition so far. I had some Dalton artwork on assignment writing service and this can help you to grab new ideas for the Christmas party.
