Featured Quilt - Busy Building Baltimore Album Quilts

There are certain types of quilts that quilters make only once due to the difficulty of making that quilt. One of these would be a Baltimore Album quilt because of its complex nature and large size. But don't tell Sally Magee that, because she's made FIVE of them! Wreath of Roses was featured at Houston 2021 and, according to her, "Is the fifth in my series of Baltimore Album quilts... my favorite, since it is a garden medallion quilt. The hand quilting adds texture around the center floral wreath."

The Quilt Show Puzzle: Colorful Windmills Keep Turning
"Windmills" by Sujata Shah

When Sujata lived in San Francisco, she mostly noticed the grays in the city. As a result, when she makes quilts now she keeps color at the forefront. Made in Pennsylvania, Sujata's quilt, Windmills, reflects the colors you see all around India, such as in the markets and at weddings.
