Featured Quilt - "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?" Bohemian Rhapsody by Mary Bauer is a quilt that requires you take your time to appreciate. There
is so much to view in its kaleidoscopic design, that you may be asking yourself if you've already viewed a section, or is a new area being revealed. Mary says, "The large octagon shapes are a Jen Kingwell design used in the 2019 Mystery Quilt published in Quiltmania magazine. While I was working on the layout and setting elements, the quilt took on a psychodelic feel, which prompted the name Bohemian Rhapsody."

"Mission: Impeccable" by Kumiko Frydl
Mission: Impeccable is part of Kumiko's Mission series of quilts. Mission, as in, the mission is whether or not she would be able to finish the quilt or even make it, à la Mission: Impossible.
For this quilt, the goal was to make a very small compass. Initially the compass was to have 64 points, which Kumiko said wasn't much of challenge. So she upgraded to 128 points, which she said was much more difficult and required her to change her pattern three different times.
