Featured Quilt - Best Wall Quilt at PIQF 2024
Cat and Mouse by Katherine Donaldson won Best Wall Quilt in the Wall Quilt Competition at Pacific International Quilt Festival 2024. On the inspiration for her quilt Katherine said, "Cat and Mouse was a celebration of the year of the tiger and was inspired by a neighbor's drawing of a tiger. The mouse was added to soften the tiger's effect and to provide a friend. Technique was fabric collage and longarm quilting." |

As part of the Olympian Artist program, Latz traveled to Paris in 2023 to create a one-of-a-kind contemporary quilt with local senior citizens. Titled “Full Circle,” the quilt is informed by t-shirt quilts often used to commemorate achievement in sport. It features upcycled sports fabrics sourced from a French recycling center in addition to personal textiles from Latz’ Olympic experience."
