Featured Quilt - Autumn Has Begun

Katie Pasquini Masopust's Autumn quilt was inspired by a photograph of fall leaves and strawberry plants. Some of the plants were orange and the others had turned green, thereby inspiring the color scheme of the quilt.

See more of Katie's work, and learn from her right here on The Quilt Show, by watching How to Make Reimagined Log Cabin Blocks with Katie Pasquini Masopust.

Unpack The Layers with Deborah Fell in Our New Show

Nothing Is Ever Surface Deep When It Comes To This Quilter

Deborah Fell is steeped in the art of quilt making and views her works to be the bridge; a way to get from one point to another, and a way to come to terms with both challenging and social issues. A professional educator for 30 years to at-risk high school students, she has also taught at art workshops and symposiums. In our new show debuting today, Deborah shares how to break the rules by creating original designs using a variety of fabrics, how a stitch line can be used as a design element, and how to stabilize and incorporate unconventional materials for use in art quilts.

Watch Deborah in How to Do Layered Cloth Construction for Collage Quilts and Stitching with No Rules with Deborah Fell, which debuts today!
