Featured Quilt - Best International Artist at Quilt National ’25

Elmore & Duke Reminiscing won Anne Smith Best International Artist (Sponsored by Luana Rubin) at Quilt National ’25. Anne says of the subjects of her quilt, "Two old friends chatting and reminiscing, camouflaged within their shabby surroundings. Their only wealth is each other's company. I used old clothes to capture the raw unvarnished textures of their life."

On The Set with Jaimie Davis

Jaimie and Ricky Invite Your To The Set of The Quilt Show

Join us on The Quilt Show for another spectacular episode this Sunday with first-time guest Jaimie Davis. Jaimie, you could say, is a jack of all trades when it comes to quilting, as she will be demonstrating three different skills by blending traditional techniques with modern tools. We won't give everything away, but by going on the set with us you'll see that her demos involve ruching, Inktense pencils, and a computer. How does each relate to what you'll learn? You'll have to come back Sunday to find out!

Watch Jaimie in Creative Ruching, Painting with Inktense Pencils, and Digital Drawing with Jaimie Davis, when it debuts this Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Grandmother's Autumn Colorway

Granddaughter's Spring Colorway

Get A Jump on June's Patterns

For Month 6 of Laurel Ridge, the 2025 Block Of the Month designed by Lynn Wilder, you will be making appliqué blocks, and learn how to work with small appliqué pieces. You can either use raw-edge appliqué or the starch method when making them.

There are two colorways for this year's BOM, Grandmother's Autumn and Granddaughter's Spring. If you purchased either of these kits, make sure to download the pattern that goes with the appropriate colorway as they do differ because of the fabrics being used. If you are using your own fabrics, we recommend that you download the patterns from the Grandmother's Autumn colorway to use as your guide.

The Quilt Show Puzzle: A Cow Outstanding In Its Field

"Peony, In a Field of her Own." by Jane Haworth

Jane says of Peony, In a Field of her Own, "Using a complementary color scheme I wanted to make one of my cow patterns on a larger scale and so Peony was born. I had a lot of fun finding fabrics to use and then fussy cut details that tell a story of themselves."
