Featured Quilt - Second Place Hand Quilted Quilts at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2025

The saying goes, "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again." Cheryl L. See took that expression to heart, as she tried very hard when making many, many "tri"-angles for her quilt, Tri Tri Again. Cheryl's quilt took home Second Place - Hand Quilted Quilts (Sponsored by Arrow Sewing) at AQS QuiltWeek – Paducah 2025, and you can really see that hard work and "tried" and true skill she put into her hand appliqué, hand embroidery, and hand quilting that helped her secure this award.

Learn from Cheryl right here at The Quilt Show by watching her in How to Piece Hexagons and Diamonds with Cheryl L See.

The Quilt Show Puzzle: Hitting The "Bullseye"

"Bullseye X Nine" by Jane Haworth

Bullseye X Nine was made using Jane's hand dyed fabrics and a photo of Julie Plunkett's dog Bullseye manipulated in Picasa. Jane used raw edge fabric collage and free motion quilting to create the quilt, and was inspired by Andy Warhol portraits for the color choices and design aesthetic.

See more of Jane's quilts in Make a Pet Portrait and How to Create a Collage Background with Jane Haworth | How to Block a Quilt with Alex Anderson.
