Featured Quilt - A Thousand Hexies For A Summer's Day
Honeybee Garden by Emily Parson was featured in the Pieced category (Sponsored by AccuQuilt/June Tailor) at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2024. Emily's piece is a hexagon quilt that features over a thousand hexies that come together to form a beautiful sight for a bright summer day. She says, "This piece captures the essence of a sunny summer day with every shade of yellow - the bees, the flowers, the wind, and the sky as the sun's rays shimmer through the trees and dapple the ground." |

Pre-Cut Sheets Make It Easy
These 8.5" x 11" pre cut sheets make appliqué easy—simply print or trace your design on a sheet and cut it out, press it onto fabric, cut around it leaving a border, turn the edges, and start stitching! "Sacred Circles" by Sally Collins
Sacred Circles was created in a more mandala style, rather than the traditional one that Sally Collins is known for. A favorite quilt of hers, she drafted it out and taught it a couple of times. In making it, she wanted to practice using one color with an accent, which she had not done before.
See more of Sally's quilts in How to Do Precision Piecing with Sally Collins.
