Featured Quilt - The Nancy Ann Sobel Award of Merit in Hand Quilting at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2026
Lollipop by Antonia Kort-Hering won The Nancy Ann Sobel Award of Merit in Hand Quilting at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2026. Antonia describes how she made the quilt, and what her intentions are for those viewing it, as such: "In this quilt, there are 466 yo-yos, both small and large, decorated with antique French ribbon and all sorts of beads. The hardest part was making the yo-yos as round as possible. The green border with all the musicians and little dogs is my favorite. It was a lot of fun making the musicians with the dogs in all sorts of positions. Lollipop is sure to make you smile; I sure did while I made it!"

How Has The The Rockingham Mantua Kept Rocking For 300 Years?
From Historic Royal Palaces: "The Rockingham Mantua is an exceptional example of an 18th century court mantua, with its wide skirt and priceless craftsmanship. It was probably worn by the Marchioness of Rockingham for George III’s Coronation, as a show-off display of wealth and status. When preparing historic fashion for an exhibition, a lot goes on behind the scenes. Join our talented conservators as they practice safely mounting this historic dress for display." |

"The Crack" by Carly Mul
Carly originally started creating The Crack with the intention the she would not use blue, her favorite color. As she was making it, something purple-ish showed up and she decided then that she would cut the quilt right in the middle and open it up. By doing this, it evolved into the titular "crack" and Carly feels that the quilt became better because of this imperfection. It is the third quilt in her organic color collage series.
