This teeny-tiny wonder of quilting, be sure to check out the size for scale and viewed from a distance photos in the galley to really understand its size, was "inspired by the needlework of Ana Sumner; Article in the Spring 2021 issue of Quilting Arts magazine."
Lynne says, "This is my first attempt at creating a silk ribbon embroidery miniature quilt with closely spaced and overlapping flowers. I added three-dimensional and hand-painted Ultrasuede to further enhance the realism. Some flowers are my original designs, including marigolds, violets, and sunflowers. The flowers chosen and the overall design are also original."
