An 1894 SINGER Sewing Machine Restoration

NATRA Restoration discovered a SINGER Sewing Machine from 1894 out in the wild disregarded and ravaged by time. They took it upon themselves to restore it back to its former glory. "The machine, which was left in the henhouse, rusted and worn out, was restored and put into working condition. It was completed after 2 months of long work. Enjoy watching!" Click through and see a video of the restoration process which produced a stunning machine that looked like it came off the shelf yesterday.

Watch the video below and see the hard work, patience, and determination put into this beautiful restoration.

As my husband said, "That was really something to see - that was a real artist at work. I was afraid they would lose a screw or forget where it went. Incidentally this type of hand crank machine was provided to the Seminole Indians in Florida in the early days and with which they created their beautiful Seminole designs. So that would not have happened had this machine not existed. How about that!

A stunning presentation. Hats off to the team who did this remarkable restoration. I wonder how many of today's machines will be working as well in 129 years time even without being left out in a farmyard!
So glad I watched this, thank you.
