I absolutely loved this behind-the-scenes peek at The Costume Institute — it reminded me how much history is stitched into every garment. Watching conservators treat 19th-century dresses with such care made me think about the stories our own clothes could tell if they talked. It also made me appreciate modern wardrobe choices in a new way; even when I’m browsing today’s trends, I always check stitch fix reviews to see how items hold up in real life. There’s something wonderful about connecting past and present through fabric and craftsmanship. Places like this make you realize fashion isn’t just clothes — it’s a living archive of human life and creativity.
