Do a puzzle of Teresa Coates' quilt, Silver Ring.
Teresa used a Denyse Schmidt pattern, Free-Wheeling Single Girl, that she tweaked to create her Silver Ring quilt. What's unusual about the quilt is that Teresa used all traditional cottons in making it except for the fabric she used for the single silver ring. Can you guess what she used to make it, and can you go even further and guess where she got it?
Did you figure it out? The titular silver ring was created using a silver lamé fabric that Teresa cut up from a jacket that she got from Goodwill. She did this to be emblematic of the silver rings that she herself wears.
