The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Serengeti Son" by Jamie Wallen

 

The long eyelashes on the mother giraffe reminded Jamie of his mom. So, Serengeti Son is, in a way, an ode to his mother. And along with the beauty of that thought, there is great beauty in the quilting of the quilt done using Jamie's longarm.
