In Love is Spoken Here, everything is significant to the memories of Annie's maternal grandmother. Very hard to design, Annie originally made the top part of the quilt, the heart with the birds in it, as the border for a quilt that she wanted to do for an Empty Spools seminar in 2002. A quilt seventeen years in the making, Annie wanted to get it just right to honor her grannie.
