Love and Friendship was inspired by Dear Jane blocks and Jane Austen patchwork. A fervent fan of Austen, Linda worked with the Jane Austen Memorial Trust and has visited her house in England many times. This quilt formed the basis of Linda's first book, Quilted Diamonds, and as you may have guessed, is named after the Austen novel of the same title.
