Do a puzzle of Mary Olson's quilt, Friends With A Twist.

Friends With a Twist was Mary's first quilt and the one that opened her world up to appliqué. After finding Michele Hill's book, William Morris in Appliqué, she brought it home to her husband, Garry Olson, who proceeded to take an interest in helping her make the quilt. The quilt was inspired by the William Morris work, Friends, from Michele's book, but expanded upon to include more blocks and designs to fit a king size bed. To do that, Mary turned to Garry, who was an art major, to create the designs to fill out the quilt that she was looking for to realize her vision.
