Do a puzzle of Julia McLeod's quilt, Cocktail.
Cocktail is named as such for the absolute "cocktail" of fabrics used to make it. Such fabrics included Chinese brocade, Indian sari silks, Filipino embroidery, something from the quilt shop around the corner, something from the thrift shop around the corner, and so. To top it off, the "cocktail" is surrounded on the outside by "Maraschino cherries", which are actually red pom-poms. This quilt also contains the beginnings of Julia's adventures utilizing sheer fabrics to create unique and creative designs that would be explored in future quilts of hers.
