Featured Quilt - Best of Show at QuiltNSW Sydney Quilt Show 2025

One Earth-One Chance by Susanne Cody won Best of Show at QuiltNSW - Sydney Quilt Show 2025. Susanne's quilt shares a message that rings true now more than ever, that if we don't preserve and protect it now, then it might not be there in the future. She says, "Time to sit beneath the mighty Boab and reflect. To tread lightly on Mother Earth, build ethically, live sustainably, nurture each other and our environment and hand over a thriving healthy resilient world to our children and generations to follow."

Dyeing Antique Linen and Lace with Wendy Richardson

Making The Old New Again Through Dynamic Dyeing

Meet Minnesota textile artist Wendy Richardson, whose early love of color and fabric inspired a career in textile dyeing and artwear. Her work is showcased in the National Quilt Museum, the Minnesota Historical Society, Quilt National, and graces private homes as well as public spaces—including every hospital in the Twin Cities.

In our new show, Wendy demonstrates how to breathe new life into vintage linens and laces, encouraging us to see them as blank canvases full of potential rather than old and boring. See how intricate color placement can transform a vintage piece into one-of-a-kind pieces full of excitement and magic.
