Featured Quilt - "When I Look To The Sky"
|
|
Art is always subjective to the person viewing it, and that is why there are more than just your standard awards at quilt shows. For instance, Pamela Zave's quilt, Sky Mirror, was awarded Marjan Kluepfel's Judge's Choice at the 2021 Virtual Spring Quilt Festival. Pamela says of her work, "The sky mirror reflects how day turns to night--left half to the west, right half to the east, upper half in clear weather, lower half in cloudy. This quilt was inspired by the work of Victor Vasarely, a pioneer of Op Art."
