Featured Quilt - A Masterwork in Hand Appliqué

Happy Trails by Chere Yamasaki won 2nd Place Visual Impact in the New Quilts of Northern Competition at PIQF 2019. A beautiful quilt full of magnificent hand piecing, hand appliqué, and longarm quilting, Chere describes her time making the quilt, with a hurdle or two to cross when making it. "This was a fun quilt to construct. The gun barrels were a challenge." Chere certainly overcame her challenges in making the quilt and, in our own opinion, we think it is most definitely "Happy Trails" ahead for Chere and her quilt.
