Featured Quilt - Viewer's Choice at AQS QuiltWeek Daytona Beach 2025
In Bloom by Ashley Bandy won Viewer's Choice (Sponsored by Rowenta) at AQS QuiltWeek - Daytona Beach 2025. "True to her love of quilting combined with a fearless approach to melding her favorite hobbies. Ashley combined quilling with quilting on this interesting quilt. The quilled flowers were created with prepared fabric strips. Triaxial weaving forms hexagons in the center section, while thread painting and beadwork enhance this small quilt that is bordered by 1/2" prairie points." |
