Scandinavian Summer by Barbara Kilbourn won the Superior Threads Best Miniature Quilt Award at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2025. "Barbara's original design was inspired by traditional Scandinavian folk art. Because her grandfather was Swedish, she made the quilt to honor her Scandinavian heritage. The 14" x 14" quilt includes 329 appliquéd pieces and 100 scallops. Barbara says, "Quilting is a journey. Be open to trying new things."" |
