Motherboard 2 by Sherry Priest won Second Place - Wall Quilts - Modern (Sponsored by Statler by Gammill) at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2026. Having made a couple Motherboard quilts before, Motherboard 2 was made for Sherry's two children, and takes its inspiration from a computer's motherboard as well as Sherry's career in computers. It was quilted by John Tsiaperas, and all the circles seen throughout were set in and accomplished using curved piecing.

"Ring Cycles" by Lessa Siegele
Ring Cycles is named for Lessa's husband's love of the Ring Cycle opera by Richard Wagner and the many circular nine-patches creating rings throughout. The ring blocks themselves were created using a variation of Jack's Chain.
