2006 Mississippi Shuffle Fundraiser Raffle Quilt - This quilt was a labor of love -- made to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It was raffled off during the 2006 Mississippi Shuffle (an overnight relay walk held in Red Wing, MN).
2007 Christmas Quilt - Center of quilt is a small panel with printed borders and pieced stars in the corners. Fabric is from the Santa's Got the Goods collection by Diane Knott for Clothworks. Pattern is available on Clothworks' website.
2009 BOM Quilt - This quilt was started almost on a whim, and I didn't have enough material. I kept scrounging around for more, one time emailing a friend in Albuquerque to go back to the Hobby Lobby and buy all the white they had remaining on the bolt. A wonderful quiltshop in Rockledge Florida, and a Hancock's Fabric in Tampa also provided me with my pallette, then scrambles on Ebay for more of the pottery material in November. Susan did the most amazing job of quilting on the long-arm. I was just amazed. I had never sent a quilt out for quilting, but it was certainly the right thing to do. The sunbursts she did freehand really add to the bright look.
2009 Challenge - Our Guild Challenge was Black & White & 1 other color (my 3rd color turned out to be gray). You could use white on black & black on white but the 3rd color had to be tone on tone with no other colors (no black or white) & had to read solid from a distance. We also had to use the 'Twist & Turn' technique for each block with at least 2 twists. The quilt also had to have applique on it. I used the 'Give & Take Applique' technique learned watching The Quilt Show (sorry, I don't remember the episode # right now) & drew my own pattern.

2010 Round Robin - This is my appliqued/pieced center with four other borders added by members of my local quilting guild.
I turned it in November and got it back at our annual June picnic. Needless to say, I was quite happy with the end result. It is now proudly displayed in my great room.
This was a great New Year's Day/day after New Year's Day project! I bought the yellow/orange batik fabric for the background, but all the other fabrics that are and will be used in this quilt will be from my stash.
