Wood Blocks
Name of Maker: Stephanie Forsyth
Wood Blocks - I did this piece using a wood block art piece at a local museum as inspiration. The original wood piece was done by George Morrison using driftwood found on the shores of Lake Superior.

Name of Maker: Jolet Migdal
WonkyWorks52 - This is an early quilt to which I added a border.
WonkyWorks50
Name of Maker: Jolet Migdal
WonkyWorks50 - Sewing wonky strips between other wonky strips is challenging, for nothing lies flat. I had to undo about half the seems to get it right. It's all machine pieced.
WonkyWorks48
Name of Maker: Jolet Migdal
WonkyWorks48 - I started this wallhanging a few years ago, put it away, got it out a year later, cut it up, put it away, got it out last April, cut it up some more and finally decided to sew it together. I admit that it's a little weird, but intrigueing nevertheless.
WonkyWorks45
Name of Maker: Jolet Migdal
WonkyWorks45 - My first quilt in 1 1/2 yrs.....I was raising a puppy and couldn't focus on my sewing!!!
WonkyWorks39
Name of Maker: Jolet Migdal
WonkyWorks39 - I started with piles of leftovers on my sewing table, and began sewing wonky strips together, gradually forming shapes and patterns, without planning anything ahead of time.
WonkyWorks13
Name of Maker: Jolet Migdal
WonkyWorks13 - This is also a fairly early wallhanging, and at the time I didn't think that much of it, but it's one of my favorites now. I did alot of experimenting and cutting through. The batiek balls were fused on afterwards and I couldn't stop adding them! Since I have run out of wall space, alot of my wallhangings are in a drawer, but this one is always out.
Wonky Swirls on Squares and Rectangles
Name of Maker: Susan Bennett
Wonky Swirls on Squares and Rectangles - A fun colorful play with batiks and some of Ricky Tims fabric, long arm quilted in a design adapted by Anita Miller, hence the name Wonky Swirls (her choice)
Wonky Squares
Name of Maker: Peg Jones
Wonky Squares - My daughter chose this as a late wedding gift for she and her husband. She chose the pattern and fabrics. The directions for making the blocks were excellent but there were none for how to put all the oddly shaped blocks together so that part was a challenge. The purple squares are appliqued to the intersections.
Wonky Squares
Name of Maker: Cyndi Joslyn
Wonky Squares - Exercise in color and creativity
Wonky Quarters
Name of Maker: Annis Clapp
Wonky Quarters - As a precision piecer, occasionally I need to take a break and do something completely different. The blocks for this quilt were mading with uneven quarter square triangles using a strip piecing technique with no seams matching. The quilt top was donated at our last quilt guild meeting and will be quilted by one of the members.
