Just Four Friends Wins 1st Place in the Group Category at AQS QuiltWeek with their quilt "Sherbet On A Cloudy Day"
Dee Legvold and Page Johnson of the Just Four Friends sit down with Bonnie Browning to talk about their quilt, "Sherbet on a Cloudy Day", which won 1st Place in the Group Category, sponsored by the Grace Company, at the AQS QuiltWeek – Paducah 2023. Mary Reinhardt did the machine appliqué embroidery work, Nathan Carter did the detailed piecing work in the stars, Dee Legvold assembled the quilt, and Page Johnson did the quilting in this collaborative quilt.

Sherbet On A Cloudy Day by Just Four Friends took home First Place in the Group Quilts category (Sponsored by the Grace Company) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2023. Aided by other stitchers Dee Legvold, Mary Reinhardt, Nathan Carter, and Page Johnson, this quilt used Go Bedazzled, Sedona Surprise & Heather Feather Border Collections by Sarah Vedeler, Meaning of Life Designs as its design source. Looking at the quilt makes you just want to share a sherbet with your four friends to drown out the gloominess of the day and partake in the joy and comfort of a delicious treat with its pastel colors and floral designs.
