Not Your Daddy’s Log Cabin in the Woods is David's take on a simple log cabin. Taking the standard square blocks and elongating them into rectangles completely changed the look of the quilt for David, with the black logs and black sashing that he added filling in the details that aren't there and creating the impression of ovals when it's all just straight lines. The quilt takes its name from its backing fabric, which features beautiful leaves.
