Artist Statement: "From a stack of fabric "Grace" emerged. Each step of her creation adding more to her personality. Grace became my friend. When it was time to quilt her-she really began to speak, which delighted me. For nearly five years we chatted almost every day-just as good friends do...and she always brings a smile to my face as I gaze at her because I treasure that journey."
