Description:

Artist Statement: "Color is my love language and my way of connecting with the world. Las calas de Valdivia was born in a fish market, where the vibrant colors of the lilies stood out against the metallic sheen of the seafood. The photo I took allowed me to capture that instant, and through quilting, I could truly reinterpret it and make it my own. Throughout the process, I observed nature in a new way, letting color guide me to create an emotional image."
