"Generations" is a Millefiori Quilt by Diane Kirkhart where she has replaced parts of the design with family photos.

While working on one of her Millefiori quilts, Diane had the thought to remove the center star and elongated diamond from the Millefiori designs and put a picture into each one. Thus, Generations was born, featuring photos of her family from up and down her family tree across the quilt and utilizing Daiwabo and Above A Whisper fabrics to bring her work to life. Diane used Inklingo to piece her quilt, and it was quilted by Karen Marchetti.
