Artist Statement: "Damilola means created me with wealth, the making of a woman. Using repurposed fabrics and collage techniques the quilt top is created on canvas. The canvas top was then prepared, border added, and free-motion quilted and finished on a sit down Long Arm machine by Earamichia Brown, McKinney, TX. Artist sponsored by S]S Academy."
