Description:
When Beth had a show coming up at theĀ San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, she needed a new topic to cover beyond bugs, since she'd already shown them, so she figured, "Why not candy?" It was right around Halloween when she began to plan this project, and candy corn was her favorite candy, so that was the beginnings of Candy Corn. Beth calls what she did in this pieceĀ "super embellishing", because every inch of each piece of candy is covered with some design aspect, and not only with just one either, by multiple layers of embroidery and embellishment on top of each other so that you get the depth needed.
