Opposing corners of blues and reds create a diagnonal arrow across the quilt. Separating the snowballs are nine patches with the center square another item of interest. The 8 other pieces are brilliant hues of blues, purples and greens. Framing this pattern is a strip of train tracks with steam engines chugging along the track. The final border is an underwater scene in brilliant blue.
