Thanks ladies. Lois, I am flattered that you find what I do inspirational. I just love trying out all the different techniques I learn here on TQS. And so good to give that piece a second chance.

Cor Rita that's 100 times better than my doodles. I thought your machine was poorly.

Love the way you used something you weren't happy with to create something new... Marianne I'm getting my willies on and will be joining you in that puddle-jump. Purple ones with lots of flowers!

Renata, the threads I used were Hemmingworths (Dried Sage, Dark Chocolate, Rummy Raisin) Wonderfil variegated (Tu35), Aurifil variegated (No:3817) and Superior Rainbows (Crown Jewels No:838).

One should really check what the autocomplete makes out of the stuff we type in before hitting that submit button...
And I really should know that because I keep switching back and forth between English and German and sometimes end up with the weirdest things....
Well I'm not going back to correct it, wouldn't want anyone to miss out on a good laugh  :P

Well, Rita, they are divine in your threadplay piece. Hemmingworth threads are still on my list... since Sherry introduced us to them... but just reading them in your post... wouldn't they be yummy?!! May just have to put in for an order... Not familiar with Wonderfil  ... I guess I'll have to look it up! Thanks!

Yup, they do sound wonderful, but, I ordered my 'free' dr. Bob's tread therapy DVD on Sunday morning, and went kind of mad on a 'little' side-order of superior threads so as not to 'waste' the postage on just one little item...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Libby's class. She is such a nice lady. Got to meet her twice. Would love to take a class with her. I see her class is not in the regular classroom so it may be temporary. I will have to watch it s few more times to get all this info in my feeble brain.

Then after I have a great background I'd be stymied again because I'd be afraid of ruining it with the yet untried technique. You continue to inspire me to just try it! Thanks.

That's exactly what I'd be doing too Lois. If it's not "perfect" then why make it but, if I don't make it how can I expect to do anything   So yeah! Thanks for inspiring us Rita.

Rita, those are some yummy, beautiful thread colors.

Marianne, I want to come and play too! I wonder if they make some of those "willies" in yellow with hot peppers all over?

By the way, how's your arm/elbow doing? Getting any better? I sure hope so

I was just over on the Threadbias forum (thanks for the link QuilterLynn) and they have an 'Off Topic Forum' (methinks I might get in trouble over there if I am not careful  ) well anyway I found this saying posted by another member, who found it on Pinterest

How clean is your house looking at the moment Rita? :P

Ah but Rosemary, you were forgetting about the back-up machine. And the back-up machine for the back-up machine....There is no fear of much housework getting done here. I was out most of the day today and came home to find that DH and the ailing DD had made a cake! It looks wonderful, all chocolaty and creamy.(Not for me but for a friend of DD who had a birthday yesterday and is visiting the sick today.) And they cleaned up after themselves. It's a miracle!
