I finally posted my July, August & September blocks. I really did get the blocks done in the allotted month, but I'm pokey getting them posted! Can't seem to get my act together to post them timely.

Nancy, from the picture you can't tell it is rick-rack, so from the back of that proverbial horse.......... ! Love your vase fabric! It would have been very hard to have found a perfect inset to go with that fabric, so I think your decision was terrific! I always try to think of real vases when I pick my vase fabric.
Maggie in E. Central Illinois, got through that 12 hour shift no problem (well, I am a little tired!) and have the next 4 days off. Quilt guild tonight with a lecture from Ami Simms, then tomorrow a workshop with Ami! WooHoo! Life is good!
Nancy ...It isn't cheating it is just improvising. Great job. I didn't even try to make really thin stamens ...just made strips....Keep up the good work... Thanks to everyone for checking out my blocks. Nan
Hi, everyone. I finally got my September block on my profile. All the blocks are wonderful. I'm still in a quandary about what to do with them at the end of the year. I'm not up for a full size quilt, even though it is so lovely the way Sue did it. We'll see when the time comes.
