Are you sure you have all the screws tightened properly? I recently moved mine and all the screws loosened. It took an allen wrench and I retightened everything - it no longer wobbles.

Hey Connie, I have the same table. What I make sure I do is not to stack all my fabric on the table when I'm starting a new project and shopping my stash. Another thing is placement of my table. I have it butted up against the straightest wall in my basement. If I have to leave anything with any weight to it for a period of time I make sure to leave it in the center where it has more support. I have definitely gotten my moneys worth out of it. I even purchased the ironing pad for it. It has definitely saved me several trips to the PT. I can only work for short time periods but this definitely makes the time more productive. FYI, please use good body mechanics. I actually had to remove the casters--the table was too high for me.

    Enjoy your quilting! Lissette

How to stabilize a cutting table

Need your suggestions: I just purchased and assembled a cutting table from Joanne's. You know the saying: "you get what you paid for!" but I need to know if anyone else has encountered this. The table is the perfect heigth and size for my studio. However, it's not very sturdy. It's a Sew Essentials table, 59x35x35. Is there anything I can add to it to make it more stable/sturdy? I It sits on casters which I have locked and I have a carpeted floor (no choice on this). Your suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks...... Connie in California
