My MIL taught both of her sons to cook, clean and sew...and put the seat down! (I digress...) Almost 18 years ago I was pregnant with twins. One morning I went to the doctor for my weekly checkup and he sent me over to the hospital for some tests. Later that day, I was told that I wasn't going home! Yikes! I still had to finish making the dust ruffles for the cribs! Much to my surprise, when we ALL came home, DH had finished the dust ruffles and had everything ready. What a great guy! These days he would opt for a miter saw over a rotary cutter - but that's OK!

            OK Margo,

You asked for it, you got it! I've just updated my profile to include pics of hubby and our daughters.

In keeping with the "Funny Thing Happened/It Is Done!" theme, I just finished a charm square tote last night...It Is Done! The funny thing is that it is a gift for my MIL for Mother's day...and I got it done EARLY! THAT will never happen again!

Hey Mary Ann, identical, huh? I've got boys, 2 weeks from 17th b'day!
I actually have a quilt finished & waiting for my lil' sister's 50th b'day... which is 3 years from now!! But I didn't really have a plan as I made it, and it just kept calling her name! I'd just made one for my big sis on her 50th, so I figured that would work... I just don't know if I can really hold onto it that long, silly, huh? (and I guess you can tell I'm in the middle, next year is the big 50... maybe I'll make one for ME except I have to make TWO for the twins HS graduation. But hey, their grades are currently suffering, maybe if they'd take another year of HS, I'd have more time to get it all done LOL
