Ann R, Did you post your Color My World quilts? Your kaleidoscope turned out great. If you did not post the finished quilts
it would be great if you did so. I saw a Ann W, but that probably is not you. What an accomplishment to finish 2 Color My World
quilts. Did you do them both at the same time, or do one and decided you learned so much you would do different that you made another? HelenW

HelenW One is currently on display at the Cotton Factory in Hamilton Ontario. the other one, I am in the process of quilting. I find the quilting does not take a much time as trying to decide what design I want to quilt.

I do them both at the same time.. I have done that a few times recently and change the colours up. I usually head for my stash. Both Colour My World quilts were entirely stash, including the backgrounds. I am waiting til I finish quilting the second one, then I will post them together

Thank you for the prompt response Ann. I can't wait to see them. Do you quilt on a domestic machine, long arm or hand quilt.
That is an area where I really need some more practice. HelenW

                Kaleidoscope, better late than never.

I have a love/dislike relationship with this quilt. I loved the geometry used in the design and the inner star. The rest of the quilt is too ‘scrappy’ for me. However, I do enjoy it in the photo, just not full sized (43”x43). I hope to make a smaller version in the future with color ways that I like better.

Since the piecing is very angular, I chose curves for the quilting. Sew Steady templates: Back to Back 3 (1.5” & 2”) and Spin E Fex 11 5.5”
