Barbara - This really would be helpful to change on the pattern for piece e - the finished piece measures just over an inch long, so the original 1-1/2" doesn't provide the same coverage as all the other pieces. Thanks so much for all your work on this!

The blog has a good search box to help find things. Here is that post.

I'm wondering also about attaching the little house to both tall building sets around it.

Agreed. It was cut too small for sure.

Are the measurements that were given with regards to drawing our own house just for the house or is that space also for the background fabric and the trees? I am hoping someone can help me or I will have to just stop trying to make my own houses and just go with the pattern. Thank you for any help that someone can give me.
The Design area I gave in July is for the entire block, including the background and the house and trees. You can print out the house pattern given, tape all the sections together, and compare it to your designed Little House.

Is everyone attaching their little houses to the Tall buildings right away, or waiting until the corners are built as well?

I answered that question in this Topic on 10/10, see below

I found them too small as well and upped it to 2 x 1 1/2 as well.

The instructions say to cut borders 5” wide, and to cut 7 strips that size, on the crosswise grain—that only requires about one yard. About two yards if you want to cut them on the lengthwise grain.
