Did you use cotton batting over wool batting because the wool comes through the back of the quilt? I just completed a quilt with black fabric and the wool batting made its way onto the back of the black quilt backing where I free machine quilted.

You've done it once again! You never cease to amaze me. You inspire me to use my decorative stitches more often. I would love to see this quilt in person. Remember when you weren't sure if you could machine quilt?
