Tracy Mooney from Generation Q Magazine, and roving TQS reporter, talks to Mattie Haines of Quiltsmart about their Marie Webster Series of patterns. Quiltsmart teaches "classic quilts, modern methods" and Mattie shows you how easily the Marie Webster appliqué quilts can be put together using Quiltsmart products.

Years ago I tried this technique to do a Grandma's Flower Garden block. Makes it quick, easy and comes out really nice each time. It's a nice method to "throw" something together quickly. I do enjoy handwork so almost all my hexies are english paperpieced unless I need it done fast. Nice interview. Thank you.

Beautiful quilt. I like hearing stories about how quilters from long ago, inspire quilters today.
