While Capt'n John was wandering through Katie Pasquini Masopust's studio during taping, he came across a number of book covers. He photographed some and we tracked down a few more. Katie has written quite a few books over the years. How many of these do you have?

Hi, I have Color Composition for the Creative Quilter, Isometric Perspective and 3 Dimensional Design. By coincidence, I was looking at some old books last week and came upon one of Ms. Pasquini Masopust's patterns, "Mountains", in the book The Masterpiece Sampler Quilt by Donna Wilder (1996). It's an appliqued landscape pattern.

My copy of 3 Dimensional Design is autographed, which led me to a long lost memory. Strangely, my mother, who was very traditional with lots of rose and blue calicos, was very fond of Ms. Pasquini's work. I distinctly remember going with her to the Houston quilt show, (probably in the late 1980's), where she bought the most unlikely thing (for her) - a piece of Ms. Pasquini's silver lame'. I really wonder what happened to that piece of fabric .... -Karen
