Have you ever started a big project, only to find you’re overwhelmed by it and you can’t even get started? You’re not alone! Even master quilters like Sue Garman sometimes get bogged down on major projects; there’s just not enough time to get them done. Sue loved the TQS 2016 BOM quilt, but already had too many other projects to take on another one. So rather than let her good investment go to waste, she deconstructed the BOM kit and designed three manageable, marvelous projects, which she named 3...2...1...Go! The projects could be finished in less time and serve as gifts for loved ones in the months ahead. There’s something for everyone, and at various skill levels.

The most advanced project is the Medallion Star quilt, which is a wall hanging designed for a confident beginner. Sue’s paper piecing method will build skills and ensure accuracy.

The Quicky Strippy quilt requires minimum piecing and can be completed in an afternoon, but look at the space for amazing quilting. Use this for picnics, couch comfort, or teaching a newbie.

The third project is actually a two-fer – A Teddy Bear and His Quilt are a baby quilt and adorable embroidered bear (which completely enchanted Alex’s granddaughter).  Sue’s patterns are simple and so sweet!

The patterns for 3...2...1...Go! are available to all Star Members beginning July 1st. Which one will you make first?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am so excited to start a new Sue Garman quilt. The best quilts I have ever made and that still get the most compliments are: Stars for a New Day and Ruffled Roses. I have been in a quilting slump lately and this changes my attitude. I learned how to be a real quilter from Sue Garman patterns and videos on TQS.
Sue, I wish you well and may the Lord give you peace. You have touched so many lives.

AWwww, what a creative solution to our collective time-crunch lives! And just beautiful, too.
What a fortunate little girl to get the teddy bear and quilt. She looks so totally engrossed in playing!
