The BERNINA Patchwork Foot No. 97 and 97D were created for the precise sewing of patchwork projects on machines with 9mm stitch width. The foot comes with a patchwork seam guide to make it easy to guide the fabric through the machine in a straight line.  It is recommended that the Straight Stitch Plate be used in conjunction with the Patchwork Foot.

In this video, you will find out how to attach the patchwork foot and the seam guide, which stitch plate and settings to use, and how to sew with the desired seam allowance. The video also includes detailed step-by-step instructions on how to precisely sew a mitered corner.
