The Hallmark Channel's "Home & Family" show invited Alex to teach a quick lesson. Hosted by Mark Steines and Christine Ferrare, Alex joined Country singing star Martina McBride , actress Deidre Hall ("Days of Our Lives"), veterinarian Dr. Courtney Campbell, and Olympian and Super Bowl winner Willie Gault.

Taping was on the lot of Universal Studios and we had to have a special pass and good directions to find the set. We passed old Western Towns and other movie sets--fun. Everyone was great to work with and very professional. The show was taped on Monday and shown on Tuesday Jan 28, 2014. John was in the "green room" with his camera.

What you are seeing is the actual taping shown on the monitor so the quality is not TV quality. BUT we wanted you to have a chance to see what happened. (Now Updated To Be the Actual Broadcast)

So if you missed it, take a look, and a big "thank you" to everyone at "Home & Family" for making me feel at home.

What a fun day to go to the mailbox.

We had to know more about this amazing quilt.  So Alex Anderson called Wendy Butler Berns to find out about the idea, the design and the fantastic quilting.

Alex Anderson talks with Sheila Frampton Cooper who shows some of her recent quilts.
