Do a puzzle of Sandra Mollon's quilt, Blue Wave.

Blue Wave is based on a photo from Sandra's cousin, Danielle Davis Quesada, taken at Lake Huron in Michigan. Sandra wanted to make Blue Wave because of all the different elements she could incorporate into the quilt to create the effect of movement. Beads and lace were used to represent the foam, while she used lots of hand dyed textiles to portray the color of the wave, hence the name.
